June 4th was Kaylee's last day of 2nd grade! She took some licorice ropes for everyone in her class as she said goodbye for the summer. She had an awesome year and did very well. I think she'll miss her class and teacher.

June 16th my baby girl turned 8 years old! I can't believe it! Seems like just yesterday she was learning to talk and walk. We had a little birthday party with her friends. We had lunch, cake and ice cream, and played games (like bingo and stick the spot on the lady bug).

The very next day, Kaylee got her ears pierced. They are little blue flowers. She looks really grown up with them. Grandma also came with us to get them done. Kaylee could hardly wait until Jayme got home from work to surprise him. He noticed right away and couldn't believe it!The last part of June it was finally warm enough to swim!
